Fabio Vettori’s impossible puzzle The Ants has 1080 pieces. Unusual for lovers of 1000-piece puzzles .
In terms of numbering the tiles, the puzzle falls into the category of easy puzzles , but the huge number of elements to group together make this puzzle a real brainteaser.
As you can tell from the cover, the image is chock-full of ants: there’s the tennis-playing ant, the bicycle-riding ant. There’s also the one who loves skiing, the one who loves traveling, the one who goes hiking, and the one who’s in love with his house.
The scene is an extended continuum of ants performing an action. It’s almost impossible to identify them with the naked eye, and your vision will be impaired.
Some elements are clear and recognizable at first sight: the rainbow, the sun, the moon and the red heart.
As always, the illustrator manages to communicate messages through his sketches and bring out the beauty in life.
