Mordillo puzzle – The Cure 1000 pieces

“Cure” is what Guillermo Mordillo wanted to represent through this watercolor illustration.

The world-famous artist usually pokes fun at reality by depicting tiny white men with round noses, often depicted in their thousands, side by side, jostling to survive in an uncontrollable and outsized reality.
In fact, we often witness scenes of people, who, with their tribulations, try to move from one end to the other, through a thousand obstacles and difficulties.

Mordillo’s true greatness lies in his ability to use a light, simple and easy-to-understand style, but above all ironic and happy.

In fact, it is a city surrounded by factories and industries, suffocated by pollution visible through the white smoke that covers the colors and beauty of the sky.

In contrast to the greyness of this environment, we have life, probably represented by a family: mother, father, son and daughter, who with great courage and perseverance, have recreated far from everything and made it possible.
